OUR PROGRAMS

 

All programs are specifically created to be flexible and individualized to meet each students needs. If your child has deficits in areas you don't see listed, please ask! I can tailor their time with me accordingly...

 

Social Skills/Groups

Throughout each 1 hour session, students will have continuous opportunities to engage in reciprocal conversation with other peers their age and practice social skills taught in a functional, supportive environment. 

We will work our way through the Social Thinking Curriculum while integrating the Zones of Regulation and other research based Self-Regulation programs.

Students learn how to make and keep friendships with peers who can relate to them. Topics discussed can be tailored to meet each students needs.

 

Siblings Group

An option you will only see here!

Does your special needs child have a brother or sister at home who may be feeling shorted by the extra attention their sibling is getting? I will teach them about autism, how they can help and most importantly have fun and support each other while making new friends!!

Groups will be formed based on age and availability. 

 

​​Academic Tutoring

Students enrolled with SFC for tutoring, not only will gain academic skills, but there is a focus on behavior management, organization and self-regulation as related to school/learning strategies which can then generalize into the school environment.

This time is tailored to the student and the specific curriculum they need extra help with.

Resume Building/Job Searches/Interview Skills/On the Job Social Etiquette

Preparing teens and young adults for the job field! Helping them to research jobs, fill out applications, interview for and land their first job or just brush up on skills needed for the road ahead.

 

BCBA Consultation

Don't need an intensive program but would like to consult with a Behavior Analyst on your child's programs/progress in-home or in the community? Or perhaps help reviewing or attending an IEP meeting/classroom observation?

Consultation by a BCBA is available at an hourly rate.
